Stash Enhancement!

I’ve had a lovely lovely week away at my parents, only thwarted by the fact of actually having to return to work. Booo. I managed to get a lot done while I was away, but today I want to show you some pretties I bought!   Some Superba Bamboo Superwash – I’m heavily debating making this into socks for my dad, who really enjoys his bamboo walking socks (not hand made) but I’m a bit worried the colours will be a little bit too bright for him. This month I completed a pair of plain socks as the month was drawing to a close and I didn't fancy cables. The Fugue Socks are going to be on my needles, but I need to make some significant modifications as 72 stitches is just far too large for me. I did finish spinning the merino and plying it. The yarn ended up as thick and thin, but mostly chunky yarn. It was the first real yarn I've spun in a long time and the learning curve at returning to the wheel is evident. It's rekindled my love for spinning, and the reminder that I can use up my "Good" fibre and create something nic
