Simba

It's been over a month since I last posted. We lost my little boy a week ago today. You know those animals that just get under your skin, that steal your heart from the very start, and there's never any comparison to? That was my Simba. We bought him from Pets at Home, 2 years and 3 months ago when he was just a little scrap of a hamster at a month old. He spent the first few days in a tiny travel cage while my flatmate at the time got a cage off someone she worked with. We ignored the 24 hour rule and had him running around on the sofa with me sat on the floor. He curled up and went to sleep in my sleeve that night and I was instantly smitten. That flatmate took him home for a weekend, shortly after we got him. Her mother wouldn't let him into the house and so he was relegated to the shed. He came back with a bad cold, a small case of wet tail and fleas. A £30 vets bill and 10 days course of Batryill later and the little boy was on the mend. When my mother found out

Naughty Bear

I don't normally do game reviews. Lets face it, I'm a third year University student, this means a. I don't have much time to play games and b. I don't have much money to afford games, especially new release. I think Pokemon Gold is the last game I bought on release date. We traded in some of our old PC games the other day at CeX, which was a really painless experience. The lad behind the camera just scanned them in told us the amount and we had the choice of cash or credit and off we went. We got shop credit and a few days later traded it in for Naughty Bear and Guitar Hero on Tour, DS (a guilty pleasure of mine!) Naughty Bear is the story of a bear that's been jilted by his friends because he's too "naughty" it all starts off with everyone planning a birthday party and excluding him. This then sends him on a killing rampage. All narrated in the style of a children's TV show, "That was mean Naughty Bear, lets show him a lesson?" Drago

Introduction

My name is Hannah, I'm 20 years old and I live in Gloucester with my FiancĂ©e (Who'll be known here as DragonBoy) and two crazy ass hamsters. I suppose primarily I'm an Animal Behaviourist, If I'm not then I've pretty much wasted 3 years of my life and £18,000 on my BSc Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare that hopefully I will be graduating from this summer! Since all work and no play makes jack a dull boy faceless a dull Girl I have a lot of hobbies. I knit, I've been knitting for around 3 years now and have made pretty much everything from hats and Scarves to a jumper for myself recently. Current projects include lots and lots of hats for Charity. I hope to have some free patterns available on this blog before too long as well. I also sew, spin yarn and reclaim yarn from Jumpers and T-Shirts when I have the time. I hope to have a large craft focus in this blog in the future. I'd also *love* to get into dyeing as well and maybe I will soon xD
